29% of visitors to the BMA site access via a mobile device. This is an increase of 125% year on year. In response to this, we worked with the BMA to deliver a new mobile site, which launched today, and was developed using data that has been gathered over the past year on the most visited pages both on mobile and desktop.
We have been working with the BMA for the past three years on a large scale digital transformation project to clarify their position and purpose online, deliver real value to their new and existing members and provide a platform for wider engagement and over the past few months, our Sitecore specialists have been working with the BMA to design and build a new mobile site that delivered a streamlined version of their website, taking the most valued and essential information to deliver a richer mobile experience
Armed with a detailed understanding of what their members and customers were accessing and searching for, our user experience team created an IA which allows users to get straight to the information they need, which focused around practical support for medical professionals and careers advice. Not all content is availabe on the mobile site right now, but more features and functionality will be added over the coming months.
