Precedent ranked =8th for overall performance in The Drum’s Independent Agency Census

This morning The Drum released the results from their Independent Agency Census and we are delighted to be ranked =8th in the elite table of overall high performance in the Census.

The Census ranks agencies against three criteria: financial performance, client satisfaction and peer recognition, with the top performers from all three appearing in the elite table.

I attended the launch event this morning at The Drum's office in Shoreditch, which provided great insight into the challenges, opportunities, similarities and differences that agencies of all shapes and sizes are currently experiencing in such a rapidly changing digital environment.

From my conversations, there are some clear commonalities: larger agencies are trying really hard to replicate the smaller agency model, with a focus on a flatter company structure and a strong family feel, all made up of talented people who are passionate about what they do, work really hard and have fun with a clear focus on the client.

Within our agency staff size group made up of 33 agencies, we collectively had a turnover growth which exceeded £22 million – a great feat for our fellow competitors and ourselves.

We are proud to share our hard earned results from the Census:

=5th for client satisfaction
5th for peer rankings
=8th in the elite performance top 10

Our success in the Census is a real testament to the dedication, skill and commitment of our team, and in turn this has led us to work with a fantastic and diverse range of clients whose enthusiasm and belief in what we do continues to inspire us every day.

After a busy year delivering successful projects and recruiting great talent to our team, the next year is sure to be another successful one for Precedent.
