ACI Worldwide

ACI Worldwide powers electronic payments for over 5,000 organisations, including retail and wholesale banks, bill pay solutions providers, and retailers.

With a reform of their corporate strategy in the pipeline, ACI recognised that their existing website was outdated and in need of a complete redesign and rebuild to increase awareness of their brand and to better serve content to their varied audience base. 

Precedent were appointed to undertake the end-to-end project, from identifying requirements through stakeholder interviews, to designing, building, testing and delivering the new website. ACI needed a fully responsive site that was flexible and robust, while supporting bespoke forms and integration with Oracle Eloqua marketing automation to increase enquiries. Sitecore 8.0 was chosen for the build, and we designed and implemented a comprehensive hosting solution to provide solid support for the new site.

Key activities and deliverables for the project included:

  • Consultancy activities to define requirements
  • Information architecture (IA) mapping
  • Prototypes to bring concepts to life
  • Complete redesign of page templates
  • HTML build
  • Site build in Sitecore (version 8.0) with Oracle Eloqua marketing automation
  • Rigorous QA testing prior to launch

The new website sports a bold, contemporary design that utilises rich media content to create a fully immersive homepage. It also uses bespoke graphs and charts to clearly communicate metrics to site visitors. With a full icon library, an editable mega menu, and complete control over how components reveal and display on both page load and scroll, ACI now have a website that they can adapt and evolve as needed. 

Unveiling a new website is only the first step in a wider plan to completely transform ACI’s digital presence. We have an ongoing partnership with ACI and are currently in the planning phase for a number of projects to continually improve their website, including utilising personalisation and geolocation technology in order to target specific audiences with the most relevant content.
