Mid-Level Data Scientist

Location: Remote/Virtual/Work from Anywhere
We are looking for a skilled and experienced data scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience programming in Python, as well as some experience working with cloud technologies, such as AWS. Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) is a plus, but not a requirement. Experience with BERT, other large language models (LLMs), and fine-tuning neural networks is a big plus.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning models for various projects and initiatives
- Analyze and interpret large and complex data sets to identify patterns and trends
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions
- Continuously improve and optimize models to achieve better performance
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience working as a data scientist
- Solid experience programming in Python
- Some experience working with cloud technologies, such as AWS
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) is a plus
- Experience with BERT, other large language models (LLMs), and fine-tuning neural networks is a big plus
- Proactive, thoughtful, careful, and quick learner
