Senior Software Engineer - Artificial Intelligence (AI)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with experience in Artificial Intelligence to join our rapidly growing startup in the property and casualty insurance industry, focused on utilizing artificial intelligence and machine learning to revolutionize the way our clients do handle injury claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and leading large-scale projects, with experience at both large technology companies such as Google or Microsoft, as well as at startups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead significant scale projects in the property and casualty insurance industry
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and implement AI solutions
  • Continuously expand skills and seek out new challenges
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Be a self-motivated individual who is always looking to grow and improve

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong full stack experience
  • Experience with AWS and Python, Terraform is a nice to have
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices
  • Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies
  • Strong understanding of machine learning and data engineering techniques
  • Experience with building and deploying models in production
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Strong ability to earn trust and high on disagree and commit

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on AI
